Low Emission Strategies

Bids invited for £5000 project fund

At the Low Emission Forum event in February, we announced a £5000 fund for LES-related projects/activities in 2010. We would like to take a number of proposals forward for consideration. They could be anything associated with the Low Emission Strategies agenda, e.g:

• Development of a case study;
• Drafting of a policy position paper or review (e.g. on the implications of the community infrastructure levy, or integration with LTP3);
• Conduct modelling or evaluation;
• Develop funding formulae for offsetting through planning obligations;
• Life cycle analysis of low emission technologies;
• Assist with technology trial or implementation; or
• To fill any data gaps.

Please contact us at info@lowemissionstrategies.org if you are interested. Proposals will be taken to the Partnership Board and selected in June 2010. They will then be announced at the Second Meeting of the Low Emission Forum in July.
